Sorry guys. It took me awhile to write this up because of work and my personal schedule has been crazy this week.
Ok, here is the wrap up on the Western BCA Regionals.
Started with scotch on Monday. (33 teams in the master scotch) Was a great experience playing with "The Anaconda"
. Glens shoulder was hurting him from the Reno Bar Table Championships to a point that I started breaking!!!! (I never break, so I knew he was in pain) He did his best.
The open scotch had 100 teams entered into the event. I have to mention my husband Larry Maes and his partner Jessica Orth. THEY WON THE EVENT!!!! I cant write the words to explain how winning that event meant to them. Jessi starting crying, I started crying, then my very level headed hubby got teary eyed. God, I was so damn proud of them. Their first finals and first win in Lincoln City.

Shhh, dont tell anyone, but I did some commentating and had a blast!!!!!
Glen won the master singles, Yawnnnnn. LOL (JK Mr Atwell)(He had a day to rest before singles, and played great)
Jackie Fitchner won the women Masters. (my bca team mate)
Mike Stevens and Cindy Doty (another bca team mate) won the Master scotch.
KCs Midway won the mens master team event w/Mike Stevens, Gary French,Steve Linglebach, Bob Zack, and Dan Loue.
Russ Hodgin won the men open A division
Not sure about mens open B will check it out and edit later
Not sure about womens open either, again I will check it and edit later
The team from Yakima won the mens open team. (double dipped the golden fleece team)
The Girls from the golden fleece won the womens open team event.
And the NPL Chix won the womens masters team event.(This is the team I am on.)
I absolutely love playing with these girls. All of them play so well. And also are so much fun to play with. Thanks Cindy Doty,Mary Hopkin,Liz Cole,Suzanne Smith, and Jackie Fitchner. All of you saved my pool life. Giving me incentive to keep playing after my moms death. Cant wait for Vegas!!!!
The whole tournament was run so smoothly by Bad Boyz Productions. Thanks guys.
And to all of the people of the Western BCA Association who volunteer their time to help make this the BEST REGIONALS EVENT IN THE COUNTRY!!!!!
