There was a news story about this a while ago. Some couple's cat, who doesn't see well, and routinely chases a large black neighbor dog off it's owners property, chased a bear up a tree instead, presumably thinking it was the dog.

I'm not sure it is a pool ball. It looks a little funny to me, but that could be the video. I have seen that happen in real life and everyone was okay, fortunately.
