Table In Antique Mall

I saw a table like this, only lighter wood, in the Needful Things Antique Mall in Hendersonville, North Carolina, over the weekend. It had a sold tag on it and was not fully assembled. I meant to find out, if I could, what price was paid, but got distracted on the way out and didn't get a chance. I took pictures with my cell phone but can't transfer them to my computer yet.

Looks like a "Kling" model to me. From the Alexandria collection, the #2 tabls was the Kling, #1 table was the Alexandria. I believe they were made from about 1900 to 1910, I could be wrong on the dates. I would really hesitate to put a price on it, I don't think I am qualified enough to do that

My book doesn't give information on the tables listed, just pictures. Looking at the picture of the plate in my cell phone, it looks like The Wythe Co. and at the Bottom, Oklahoma City. Can't make out a date, it's pretty fuzzy. My other phone took better pictures

Brunswick Kling

It's a Kling model. Came in both 9 and 10' models with 1 or 1.5 inch slate. I almost bought one here on AZ a while back at 7K but it was a 10footer. These can get REALLY expensive depending on the source. Upwards of 20K would not be a real suprise. Beautiful table and if I had a job with a bit more security I certainly would have bought the one I had the chance at.

That table is a brunswick kling. *edit* Nope I think it's the Brunswick Arcade (bottom image)

*edit* I was just looking at pics... that table could be an "arcade". Looks pretty similar to the Kling. Was made a little later though...

This magnificent design marks a new era in the highest class of billiard table construction and ornamentation. It carries a suggestion of the classic Greek and ancient Egyptian, touching a period when the Oriental splendor bid fair to outrival the more classic tones and studied effects characterizing the era when Athens claimed the right to school the world in literature and art. The severely plain in furniture, is now giving way to the lighter and more artistic coloring effects of inlaid decorations.

I agree, I think it looks more like the Arcade.
