I'm thinking about buying a new shaft for my It's george cue. It has a silver ring on the black collar. Is it a 5/16 18? I want a predator 314 Just don't want to order the wrong one. Or does anyone have one for sale?

It is an undersized 5/16 - 14. Being undersized, a standard 5/16-14 insert in a predator will fit on the butt, but it will fit a little loose (until tightened down against the face ofcourse).
I believe the OD ranges from .302 to .307 for these pins.

OK I'm not the most experienced so I don't understand. Can I just order this shaft and it will work or is their a seperate insert you are talking of. Is this a good idea or not. The original shafts have a lot of deflection and are pretty whippy. They fit perfect though will the predator fit as smooth? Any ideas?
