Kings Cross Snooker Club, London

Sorry the pictures aren't very good. There were a LOT of snooker tables but only three were being played on, so the light was pretty bad. Someone else posted a pic indicating only "London" and I suspect this was the same place. The room only cared about Snooker. If you wanted to play "American pool," you went downstairs to a brightly lit, no carpeted room you'd think was for kids but there was a bar... 2 tables were pretty shoddy with dead rails, old stained cloth. The message was clear: "We play snooker, here."

I haven't seen a Jointed Cue one in this thread yet. It's from some time in 2006-2008 (the years run together, sorry).

One of the pool players looks like a slender Tony Chohan on the left-hand side, wearing the black T-shirt. :)

WOW!I'm so glad I found this thread. It feels good to be a pool player. Thanks everyone, just keep 'em coming.

This is one of my favorite pool room pictures. It is of Golden Cue in Albany, New York. The tournament has ended, and it's time to go home. The winner, clutching his trophy, is peering inside one last time, contemplating whether he should stay or not, as he watches another player counting his cabbage. To leave or not to leave, that's the question!:grin-square:

hey thats kid d inside that keith is looking at.

That would be Tony's cousin Amar Kang aka AK-47

No, that's Tony Chohan. Amar isn't that tall, I don't think. I know you've seen these guys more often than me, but that can't be Amar.

Unless Amar grew a few inches! :grin-square:

Okay, I got better pics of Amar, but this one was handy! LOL
