So will the BCA BAN Cover?

I sent a PM directly to Bill S (rules guru for the BCA) asking about the Icebreaker, the White Diamond, G10 and phenolic ferrules with leather tips. He's response was pretty much that anything that has phenolic, and/or G10 in the tip will not be allowed. Phenolic ferrules with leather tips will be OK though as long as the glue between them doesn't contain phenolic (which I've never heard of). So, based on his response, I would say the Icebreaker and the White Diamond (which is phenolic based) are both banned.
