A big old atta-boy to all you pool shooting vets out there!!!this your day go out and enjoy it, any vet coming to my pool room may shoot all day [free of charge] sticks billiards in clarkesville ga and again , THANKS for what you did & and are doing!! a pet pppp of mine, have you ever noticed a store having a memoriald day sale, well just go in and show proof you are a vet, do you get a discount??? hell no!!! piss me off , will not spend money there. oh well enough, have a great day guys&ladys!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
 
One of my best friends was a vet and we shot alot over the years. We would shoot for hours in his basement and unfortunately he passed away last August (RIP Stan Roberts). Today makes me remember many people and he is one of the ones I think about the most. Also miss my grandpa who was a vet also. Let us all remember those who gave their lives in service.

Hello Stick,

Actually Veterans day is in November. Memorial Day is to honor our fallen heros that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Many people confuse the 2 holidays. You make a good point though about remembering year round, not just on the holiday. I think it's a good thing to have a day to make sure we remember though.

Hope you are doing well! I hope to make it down to your room some day.
