It all started here and what a journey it is still...

A Viattorre is my very first custom cue none the less. This baby took awhile (about 2yrs) for Jackson Tan to finish, but it's all worth the wait. This started our long term friendship and some more cues from him. I see Jackson everytime I visit Manila for lunch or dinner. Very nice standup guy.

Cue is Tulipwood forearm and Spalted Tulipwood Butt. Burgundy Linen based Phenolic Joint and Butt cap. All wood ring pack, which Jackson and I came up with. White Irish linen wrap with Burgundy spec.

Without further ado... here are the pix...

Special thanx to Ms. Bogee Romero for her camera Nikon D60, 18-55mm Kit Lens @ ISO 200, f8.0, 1/200sec, 350W 24" ProBlitz Softbox and for the props. Also to my friend Ben Tecson for his phototography and post-processing skills. You're the best Bro. (My friends from another pool forum I frequent.)

Very nice, that is some cue you've got there. I like the phenolic piloted joint! Must hit like a dream!

my first was a tulip as well, blowfish!
like the ring work and the way the cue comes together as a whole.
and the custom jp's add that nice extra touch!

The hit on this cue is awesome. Very solid and firm, bordering into being stiff. This changed the way I like cues. I used to like then soft and flexi.

Thanx everyone for the appreciation. I'll be posting some more. :grin-square:

Really nice cue, looks better in person... did I get to play with it? I remember holding it but don't remember shooting with it....
