ACS Event

Haven't seen any posts about last week's ACS event at the "Riv". Short on entries but not ability. Some great players. Some notable missing players (Jessie Bowman). John Lewis and his crew did their best in a difficult situation. Gary Benson and his crew ran a very smooth event. All the tables I played on had been recovered recently. Unfortunately, the cue balls in use, some Aramith, some Cougar were pretty well used up:shakehead:! Regardless, a very good event. I had fun. What more can you ask for?

My team played his Dad's team. My best guess is too few entries (no money to steal) for him to make the trip.

Can't give you all the results. Know for sure Dick's Pick won the Open 8 Team over Team Canada Eh! Lost our first match and came back to win. Las Vegas Cue Club won the Master 9 Ball Team over Dick's Pick. Placed fourth in the Open 8 Ball after losing my second match (nine in a row). The event was won by a sixteen year old over teammates Rocky Phipps and Jimmy Moore. Lord help us!
