Room size demands for a 9 foot table

Well, we have looked at a house and it would be great to have room for my GC3 - 9 foot table.
Measuring one of the rooms gave me 418cm wide (Prox 13,713´) and 467cm (15,32´)long - room size.
Looking at different table manufacturers I get the feeling that this is squeezing
it but the requirements seems to be a little different depending on the manufacturer you look at:

My cues are in the 58,5'' range.

Now is this a no go or would it work? I would like to have space to play on
all sides without any leveling. If that is required I would leave it.

Any one with experience ?

Regards

The playfield on 9ft tables is 50x100" or 127cmx 254cm.The side comes up a little short but the length is the real problem. You would only have approx 106cm or 41 or so inches to the play area.

A good rule of thumb for figuring out if you have enough room for your table to play on, add 5 feet to, whatever the size of table you have, on all sides.
With a cue under 60 inches, this gives you room to stroke off of the rail, without hitting walls, windows, tv,etc. and still be able to enjoy the game to it's fullest.

6x12=16x22
5x10=15x20
4.5x9= 14.5x19 feet
4x8=14x18
3.5x7=13.5x17

Less than that, if your willing to give up some of your playing field, more than that is perfectly fine...:smile:

Thanks guys.

The table has been in storage for some years now and I never think about space requirement when
I'm in the pool hall. Playing in the pool hall makes me spoiled so I guess it would be a squeeze to
get room in this house.
I guess I need to knock down some walls in case we go for this :(

Thanks

That's the sp:Dirit!

Worst part is my wife has no problem with it :) I guess my better half is eager
to start practicing to beat me in pool he he.
Would be nice to have room for my restored pool chairs as well, so we'll see
what happens.

Well if it is tight, it will get you used to never leaving the CB on the rail! Thats a bonus!
