European and Asian players

Does anybody know what % of European and Asian players play with a european or conical taper shaft? Is that the shaft of choice in places other than the USA?

Does anybody know for sure any major or top level players that use a european tapered shaft? Names if possible.

Soembody was telling me that most of the Philipino and European players use the European taper.

I don't know if he still does, but I'm pretty sure that Alex Pagulayan used to use a conical taper.

I think Earl Strickland used a european taper when he was with CueTec. They sold one of their cues with his name on it and it had that kind of shaft on it.

Anybody else know of any top players who use that kind of shaft?
