Looks like Team DMIRO picked the wrong weekend for their 1st 10-Ball Tournament which I think is being held at Eastside Billiards??

Or maybe Eastside and Skyline are pretty far apart??

Seems a shame because most likely these would have both been successful events had they been on DIFFERENT weekends.

I would guess the NYC 9-Ball event will end up being more successful because there is a little history/tradition.

Before we picked that date we checked AZ Billairds and didn't see anything for that weekend. We have over 40+ for the event so far.

I am sure we both will be just fine.

Yea its a shame. This tournament is going on its 4th year on the same weekend every year and was posted up since January. Just goes to show you how things work in the pool world. Some new tournament director takes the same dates and then preaches how his tournament is fair. Oh well. My event will be a great as it is every year.


Mike good luck with your event and your future events. I learned over the years is stuff like this goes full circle. So dont be surprised or upset when it happens to you.

We made a mistake, there are plenty of players. Not a big deal. It was not intentional. It was not our fault that the event was not listed on AZ Billiards, or on inside pool mag's tournament listings back in APRIL/MAY when we set the date.

Anyways, good luck with your event. I am sure you will do just fine.
