My lesson with Adam Wheeler

I've been struggling with my stroke here lately, so I decided to take some lessons. I've heard of Adam before; never seen him play though, but I figured what the heck.

I have to say it was worth every penny and the best investment I've ever made towards improving my game.
After watching me shoot some balls, he was able to assess weaknesses in my stroke and taught me how to develop more power in my stroke so I can be more consistent. I have to work hard at the things he showed me, but at least he's given me the tools to help me improve. He knows what he's talking about, and it appears he enjoys teaching. We were interrupted a few times, but his attention was focused on me.

Above all, he's a nice guy and well respected by everybody here in Orlando. I highly recommend him to anybody trying to improve.

I shoulda taken a lesson instead of playing that goofy tournament today!!

I was the guy that came over, whining about his slump!!

Thank you for the good review.

This was after last week's discussion on non-standard grips vs solid fundamentals. Just a note, but there was an immediate improvement in his alignment and stroke just from a small adjustment in grip. Changing from using just fingers to a standard grip with the palm has made a large difference. (I should have taken two pictures to illustrate the difference) :(

This is not an "I told you so", but more I am happy to see someone who loves the game of pool have an immediate improvement in their game and hopefully, with practice, a lasting benefit.

good to meet you bud! well sort of.......

Oh yeah! I remember you! Wasn't really paying attention.
I'm glad I took the lesson instead of playing that goofy tournament!:D
