its really a shame

you and me, both!
. . . still would rather be drivin' than postin', anyday! :thumbup2:

"Driving" is fun, going some place in a car is a drag. I have been blessed to own most of the worlds best cars and have driven everything in the modern era. I have alot of good war stories from the driving days, I wasnt a great "heal & toe" trained track driver-I was learning. But on Rallys with alot of other drivers on open roads driving 140-170 sustained and gettting close was normal for me, open road driving is where my skills are the best. I remember my forst couple years wow it was scary and after a run i'd fall asleep like Michael Jackson after a gallon of Propofol. After enough practice it wasnt white knuckle stress it was fun, kinda like big $$$ pool, the first few times are tough, after you get past that hurdle its a blast.

I might get back into driving again, that scene got old to me after a while, pool has been in my blood since I was 4 or 5 watching the buys hit balls at a resteraunt I used to go to with my mom and dad, (its still there).

The people in driving have real tight rings(for the most part) people in pool are cheap scates, nobodys perfect, hell i sure do have my faults, but I like the people in pool alot more than cars, too many phonyes in the car circles. In general terms. and with the economy tanking its funny to see so many "rich" guys lose their cars. The tighter the ring the poorer they are, like in pool the more rules in 8ball the lesser the player, nobodys perfect, but my friends in pool go way back to 85, in cars if you know someone 3 years thats along time.

you use phrases i'm not familiar with . . . must be that lv/west coast lingo!? :)
meaning comes thru though . . . "tight ring" = high debt to asset ratio.
have to remember that one!
been playin' pool since i was 5 or 6, and driving since 15 and 16.
like both, but find driving more exhilarating, and a better stress reliever . . . for when my ring gets a little too tight!
pretty much everyone has tight rings now a days though, or at least tighter than before . . .

ever wonder

I would be willing to wager that Jim has never hid from anyone in his life. He calls them like he sees them, like it or not/agree or disagree. He didn't send that email to Eric, someone wanting to stir the pot did.

Todd<~~~likes and respects Jim, definately a love him/hate him kinda guy.

I agree Jimbo calls them like he sees them but sometimes I wonder what game he is watching
