Rack 'Em in the Windsor Square shopping center on Independence Blvd in Matthews is a great new room. Plenty of tables, great food, and great people.
The Green Room in Pineville has 6 Gandy and about 10 Diamond Pros, all 9 footers.
Smokin Cue in the University area

Let me know when you are going to be in town. Maybe we can get together for a couple of games.

I 2nd all of what Steve said including getting together for a few games. I personally prefer the Green Room, but I need to head out to Rack 'Em sometime soon anyways...

I heard Paradise closed already, after what? Less than a year?

If so, what a shame...

Smokin Cue, isn't that the one on the north-north/east side of Charlotte, that has @ 12 GC's + 2 Metros (or are they centennials)?

Yup, Paradise closed after about 6 months. It's a shame that they closed in that they had nice Diamond Pro-Am's. The reason they closed is that the owner didn't treat players very well. Didn't help that from my understanding he couldn't afford to keep the A/C on in the building unless it was a "peak" time. So in the middle of the day in June in Charlotte you would have no A/C. His table prices and drink prices were also high when he first opened. He lowered them and started offering specials after a few months but by that time the players had already heard about the high prices and stayed away. Another thing that killed it was his monthly rent which from my understanding was absurdly high and would have required the place being filled all day every day to cover. He moved into a brand new expensive strip shopping center right off the highway and payed for that "convenience" in his rent.

Smokin' Cue is on the North/North-East side, and IIRC they have like 16 GC's.
