Huh?
I 'm not knocking your speed but it is beyond my belief that a person who has put the hours through years of work into that which is necessary to reach an "A" level could make the statement that 9- ball is ,"about just shot making."
those definitions are very wide....to me there is a huge difference from a B to A...
im not a 9ball player....but running oout 5 balls in rotation with ball in hand is alot easier than running out 7...
i played around last night to try and rank myself according to the scale/definitions posted.
heres what i found.
i get out from the 5 ball 80 percent of the time with ball in hand. at one point i ran 5 balls 9 times in a row.
things changed pretty drastically tryng to run from the 3 ball......i found myself lucky to get out 2 out of 3 times (this is with no combos working myway around the table) but able to do so.
those extra balls get you in trouble early in the rack...i was on a 8 footer and rattled balls a few times trying to force my position.
anyway getting out from the 5 is very much way easier than from the 3.
it was fun practicing some 9 for a change. i dont much like the game competition wise.
i guess im a A- atleast i was yesterday....my saftey play is as good as anybodys thou so that might make me a strong/mid pack A
how do you rate 8 ball players??? what would the scale look like....to me 8 ball takes more pool knowledge...and isnt so much about just shot making....
