This is a "no masters" 8-ball tournament that features a race to 5, no handicaps, big calcutta and only a $35 entry fee.

We have set a hard limit of 96 players. All regular events are $1000 added based on 64 players. We have filled the first three no master events so the added money was actually $1500! It is highly recommended to pay your entry fee in advance to guarantee a spot.

The tournament is played on 14 Diamond 7' tables with "pro cut" pockets, Simonis 860HR cloth and Super Aramith Pro balls.

The Carom Room also has extra tables for practice/action, good food and plenty of parking.

Doors open at 10:00 am for free practice on the tourney tables. Calcutta starts at noon. No practicing on the tourney tables during the calcutta.

We filled the last no masters tourney at 11:09 am. Please pay in advance or get there early if you want to guarantee a spot.

Your equipment

I have heard alot about your tournaments/equipment, ALL POSITIVE.
I will try to make it before the end of the year.

Good-Professional operators are hard to find.

I had planed to attend the 9-Ball Tournamrnt in Quincy, IL ( I prefer 9-Ball) but I have been hearing some things.

You must be doing it right. I have not heard anything bad.

Check out the previous results. The first three no master calcuttas have been over $6,000 this season!!

You need to play in only 1 tourney to qualify for both final events in a division.

Please check the dates on the flyer and make sure you get qualified soon!

You will never hear anything bad about this event. It's worth the ride. I would plan for a two day trip, they get a lot of players!

When you come to the tourney make sure to fill out a contact sheet with your name, address and email. We have forms available by the registration desk.

We will do mailings in the off season and send a couple of reminders by email during the season.

Women masters are "ok" to play in the no master events. Women grand masters may be eligible but need to check with me or Dave to verify. Women pro players are only eligible for our open events.

One week to go! Make your plans now. I would highly recommend paying your entry fee in advance.

For those who plan to pay on the day of the tourney, please get there early. Doors open at 10:00 am and the last no masters event had the max of 96 paid entries at 11:09 am.

More than 30 entries already paid for the 12th!

Come & join us and have a great time at the Carom Room. You can always find something to keep you busy :)

Did you go to Oshkosh last weekend? I thought Dave & Carlos were going to be there to pick up a few entries.

Ok, so we are sticking to the first 96 paid entries. If you mail it off today you should be ok. Getting there early (Friday night or before 10 am on Saturday) works as well to guarantee your spot. I'm not absolutely positive but you could try to reach Dave @ the Carom Room (608-365-1811) and see if he could take PayPal. If you know someone going early then they can pay for your spot too and you can show up later. Someway, somehow you need to get the money to Dave. That's ultimately the bottom line.

I called Dave and he said no PayPal and no credit cards. So I mailed a money order. I understand but it would be easier if we could pay via PayPal or credit card.

Excellent tournament. Figure out how to pay ahead and get there.

im gonna take my chances and try to get ahold of you on here friday night to make sure its not full..it will be me and another player comming

Getting some heavy snow today into tomorrow. Should be plenty of time for clean roads by Friday/Saturday.

Over 40 paid entries received so far. For those coming on Saturday morning I would highly advise you try to be there as close to 10:00 am as possible.

Call there at night and ask for Dave Coles. That's what I did last night.
