Thanks guys! After reading a lot of the forums here, I believe that Chris follows a lot of rules that I believe in when it comes to doing business. I am really considering ordering that Micro III when I file my taxes. Shipping weight would probably be (guessing)around 35 lbs. Maximum that USPS allows is somewhere around 70 lbs. Dividing up the parts into two or more boxes could be feasible. I've seen fairly large boxes get shipped here, so I know it could be done
As for building cues, I've wanted to for years. Ever since I met a guy in San Diego, years ago, he'd set up his shop in the Billiard Palace. I forget his name, but he was real cool, didn't mind us guys pokin around his shop and askin questions. Until coming to this site, the craft of pool cue making was a mystery. I do believe that Chris and others like him allow for complete novices to have a chance to learn a great craft. It's been around for nearly two centuries(?) I would love to help see this great art continue. For now tho, I will be satisfied simply by watching and learning, and eventually playing with my Micro III whether here or at home, and then upgrading to the deluxe. Cheers!
