LOL if you only knew how close you are to the new campaigns. I didn't even know we marketed our seed like we do. If youre not an ad on TV or ustream I just don't see it. We got some new machinery that also detassles 99.5% of the corn so no more buses of kids in the fields...

I kinda figured Neo (aka Jody) wasn't playing near as bad as he lamented on Friday night. Winning the EOY tourny is pretty solid.

Smokies going to be hoping tonight! I can't figure out how one week nobody is playing there and the next week EVERYONE is playing there. :rolleyes: Scheduling is probably a nightmare anyway.

since it's smokeless Smokies, I am glad to be there any time.:grin:

Anyway nice shooting by team unknown. 4-1 beat down on us!



Was another interesting night watching Pet give Tom the "Tom spot" 4 games to 5! Was fun till Tom got up 3 and then had a change of heart and only took 3 to 5. They ended up even.

I gotta give it to Pet. I don't know anyone else that would give up a spot like that and end up even or ahead! Pet, you are a bad man!

Dude, I will break it down for you the 237th time...TALK TO MY BACKER (Jimmy). He is trying to put me in games to play. I don't roll with the cash like you guys do and my bills are way to high to be playing $50-100 sets at the moment.

I really do not like the cue I am shooting with (Dale Perry), but I do ok with it. If he or anyone else wants to put me in that game, then I will play, END OF STORY.

How's the cue process coming along? Are you still on the waiting list or did you start talking about designs and all that stuff yet.

He sent me pieces of both ironwood and rosewood and I am going to pick the piece I like the best to use which I think is pretty cool. They should be here either today or tomorrow. Then I need to work on the design process which is the hardest part. I believe I already know what I want to do for the rings which is the ivory rings with stitched veneers, as well as a black leather wrap. It will be a four point cue. The hardest part will be the design for the ivory inlays...I may be commissioning someone to do that part.

Thanks Bruce...he has wanted to back me for years and I said no for the most part. Problem is in pool it is really good for your game to play under that pressure situation.

Yeah I've seen some of them in the Cue Gallery and For Sale forum, and they do look good. It sounds like you will end up with a nice one when it's all finished.

Yep, I am scared to play you. I can't win that game. I guess I got lucky last time. Of course the other side of the coin is I had about 14-15 people wanting to back me with you giving me the 6 or 7 so maybe Vegas saw the line differently. I don't gamble like you big boys, but occasionally I can hit em decent.

PS...its not being scared to not have the funds to gamble. I don't air barrell people, sorry you won't get that out of me.

I have heard the hit is real good, and the work he has put out is real good as well. I also have had about 10 times better customer service email wise then from the last one I had made for me. Who sends out wood without asking questions so I can pick the one for my cue and I only need to pay for the shipping back to him? Enough said!

But if you had 14-15 people wanting to back you before, where are they now?

I wouldn't even care if we played and you didn't have the cash(isn't that the normal protocal for DM players anyway? lol) I'd just like to play you again. And I'd rather not wait 8-12 months for you to get a cue built!

I wouldn't say a soft spot, just annoying like changing my post/quote above to say blah blah blah I'm scared like I quoted that. Kind of childish even though yes I know you are just joshing or razzing me a bit. As for the 14-15 people wanting to back me with that spot, are you going to offer the 6 again? I can make some calls. I don't know how long it will take to get my cue made; I should hopefully know soon after I pick the design/wood combo.

No free ride on this end. I will never play someone without having the money, regardless if they say its ok, just not my personality. I PROMISE you we will play again sometime. I am no hurry to get in the box with the Dale Perry unless you are offering the 6 again. I do not like that cue, or the 13mm shaft size. I'm not trying to get pissy or duck you, but I also can't be talked into playing when I don't have the funds to do so.
