What shoes do you wear?

i wear skateshoes, prefer Etnies.

I used to have a pair of airwalk sandals, they felt pretty good. Wore them the entire time we were in vegas for APA nationals. never complained about my feet.

Have shot in Doc Martins and Sketchers as well. never really had any issues, but i haven't been playing much these last few years. Ill just stick with my E's or maybe try my running shoes. (mizuno Elixer5s if i remember right)

vans for short sessions. nike for longer sessions like tournaments. nike sneakers are the only brand that fit my feet comfortably. i can stand in those for a few hours with no problems. the vans are good for league or a few short sets but the lack of cushion can start to wear on my feet after a few hours.

RedWing Boots...no matter the occassion. I wore New Balance Walkers for yrs but lately I find my boots to be move supportive of my mass !

Voo

These are scientifically proven make your feet feel totally relaxed.

I've tried about all that was mentioned. Don't take offence to this whats your weight. I lost 15 lbs. that seemed to help an little. Skip

I wear sketchers, the casuel type. On the other hand before work I wear my safty step shoes which are really comfy when shooting pool.

recently i have been wearing the same pair of shoes when i go out to shoot some, they are diesel shoes, flat on the bottom and so comfortable. i played 2 tournys last night (split both of them 1st and 2nd) anyway so you can imagine how long each was and well..... after 10-13 hours of playing my feet would have been sore in alot of my other shoes but not these ones.

I actually use orthopedic shoes and they cost $2500.00 a pair, believe or not, and insurance pays 0000000000000000000!!!

Recently (the past 12 months) I have been playing with Chuck Taylor Low Top All-Stars with no socks. My feet dont sweat so there is no smell, I like them because they are flat on the bottom and soft like slippers, I have played in casmire slippers a few times and liked that too.

For many years I played barefoot everywhere I went, I love to play barefoot, I like how the ground feels on my feet-I rarely wear shoes unless I have too. My feet as a result are very strong, I can walk on gravel drive ways, anything with no pain-except heat.

I cant play in bouncy running shoes, I have tried and tried too and I just dont play as good. Its impossible for me to play in mens dress shoes, Sometimes back in the 80's I would dress sharp to go to the pool room, if I wore dress shoes I didnt take a cue-I would go to bet on matches.

The reason I explained alot about my feet is I think its important VERY important part of pool, my awarness of my feet is more than most people I think, and where they are positioned is very important to your stance and some of the most basic fundementals to playing good pool, your hands and feet are the only things holding you up, your feet bear your weight and how you line up is critical.

One thing I have noticed about naturally gifted players over the years is they all seem to line up good naturally(with out instruction) and that starts with your feet. And proper foot wear is critical. I'm just weird with the barefoot thing-my Dr says its a sign of mild autism. So I'm part retard-I like it!!!
