Viattorre specs
2007, purchased from torqiet on AZ.
59” length.
Beautiful Snakewood points and buttsleeve. Ivory sleeved wood joint. Radial pin. Ivory inlays executed perfectly by hand. Textured leather wrap. Cue butt rolls very straight. Weight is around 19.5 with the original shaft. Lighter with the predator. Both shafts are fairly clean.
Shaft 1: Predator 314-2 custom made by Dick Neighbors using ringwork from an original shaft. Original Everest tip. Should be close to original diameter. There is some raising of the finish felt where the wood meets the joint. Rolls perfectly straight
Shaft 2: Original shaft. Aegis ferrule done by Mike Pancerny. Talisman medium tip. It was originally 13mm and it’s still pretty close. Wider diameter and heavier shaft than the predator. Rolls fairly straight, but not perfect. There is a sugar mark on the shaft.
Joint protectors with ringwork are made with ebony.
Condition: There is a chip in the bottom of the cue from when it got whacked against a pool table. The finish is chipped and there is a very small chip in the ivory butt. A separate issue is you can feel the finish has raised somewhat where the wood meets the ringwork. Not huge. Otherwise, in very good used but well cared for condition.
I'm selling this because I've been turned on to other cues and don't play with it anymore. It was my player for 2 years (2007-2009).
This is great deal for a fancy cue from a retired maker at $725 shipped. International buyers are welcome but we need to discuss price and shipping.
The first several pics were taken a few weeks ago. The bottom few are from 2007. I will take more upon request.
