practice a softe stroke, and try playing to lessen the angles on shots. the cue will travel less when hitting he object ball fuller.
Usually, if one doesn't want one's object ball to go very far, one shouldn't hit one's cue ball very hard.
There is no relationship between a cue tip and table size.
Are you saying a soft tip would not cause a cue to take more draw or stop than a hard tip hit at the same speed ?
