No one else here has any interest?
O.K.
First person to P.M. me will get (15) 5/16 x 14 Titanium Joint Pins for $100.00 shipped (U.S. Only) The pins will be 3.25" long with a Major of .304.

Can you tell me the weight of each. Also how are the ends finished. Pics don't look like they are finished at all

Dave,

The 5/16x14 weigh in at 1/2 ounce.
The 3/8x10 weigh in at 3/4 ounce.

The ends have a been chamfered. We had the pins made this way so that each cue maker could customize them to there liking.

Not to be rude but I need accurate weights not guesses. If not mistaken bcm's 3x8-10 southwest style pin with a shoulder only weighed .4 oz

I just received the Titanium 5/16-14 pins that I ordered and they are well made and fit my inserts very nicely.
The weight that I have for them on a digital scale is:

5/16-14 stainless weighs 22.3 grams or .785 oz

5/16-14 Titanium weighs 12.4 grams or .435 oz

That's a fairly big difference in weight.
I'm happy,

Dick

If they are cut the same you can go to the Periodic table of Elements and look that the density of titanium. The problem SS isnt a element and you would have to know the % of elements(iron, nickle etc) that make up the SS which isnt that hard to do any more if you know what SS your using, then do a simple compairison of density and calculate the difference and get exact weight.
