Sorry for the lateness of this post... the league sign up ends on May 25.

Anyway, there is a new season (Season 20) of in-house 14.1 starting on June 1 at
Volcano's in Hurst. There are three levels of play. Play to 100, play to 125 and
play to 150.

It cost $20 to sign up and then $5 per match. You are scheduled four or five matches
a month (depending on the number of people in your level). You and your scheduled matches
just get together and play at Volcano's whenever you can that month. The table time is
free when playing a match PLUS league members get a membership card that gives you free
play at Volcano's Sunday - Thursday too!

wow, 14.1 in DFW! i'll be moving soon but still might want to compete until then. the place looks terrific! is it non smoking?

No... it's not non-smoking but they have a lot of fans and filters so it's never to bad. I don't smoke but I don't notice the smoke much at all there.
 
I need to turn in my sign-up sheet and money tonight! I'll try and play the tournament as well, lol!

All you have to do is call Herman to let him know you want to play and you're in.

We had about 40-45 players last season and hopefully will have more this season.

It's a great way to learn the game if you haven't played it before or to match up with really good players if you have, and it's fun too :-)

I had talked to Herman last week and I told him that I was in again for this new season. Looking forward to it.
 
Crud, it looks like I missed this by 1 day. I don't usually look at threads in this forum, but I saw the thread title on the root forum screen. Any chance of starting one nearer to the Plano area?
 
You might still get in if you called Herman today... can't hurt to ask :-)

Don't know about a 14.1 league in Plano... the Volcano's league is in-house and it's entering it's 20th season. You might look at http://www.14and1.com they have section on setting up a new league though them... don't know anything else about them though... sorry.

I am an hour from Dallas, so I don't know too much going on over there. I doubt there is another 14.1 league though the area than the one we are talking about in this thread.
 
There are 45 players signed up for this season. Which is really strong
for a straight pool league. It's gonna be fun!


Next season start in December.
