Gus #14 Been trying to buy this cue for 20 years.

It doesn't get any better than this for a cue to play with, not a lot of frills and yet it looks so classy it's hard to believe. To any knowledgeable cue person this is a perfect player........

Absolutely GORGEOUS cue, and great history.

You must feel like a treasure hunter that has FINALLY found the chest of gold after all those years.

Enjoy!!!

Rich, Here's another memory for you. Do you remember Billy Carrelli? He sort of started the Szamboti craze in Cincinnati. He played a guy from Philly who had one of Gus' very early cues. He had Billy hit a few balls with it and gave him Gus' phone number. Billy is/was a horse trainer and he gave Gus a few horse tips and developed a relationship with him early on. He has one of the Wico cues that Gus made for him, one that Gary had made for his girlfriend Lisa and the rareist of all, one he ordered for his stakehorse, a wealthy guy who wanted a fancy cue with jewels & shit Gus would never have done. Billy told him to just make him something fancy and charge him whatever he wanted! Gus sent an ebony merry widow, with white phenolic ringwork. The only ebony MW known and the only cue made by Gus with the white phenolic ringwork. Barry has authenticated the cue and said it was quite unique. Here's a little pic of the joint. Later buddy! Sherm

I'll see if I can get them to up load now. This may be the rarest of all Szamboti cues though not the fanciest.

Bad A$$ PJ

That PJ cue is great. Love the Fat stitch rings above the wrap... always been a sucker for those rings I since I first saw them on a Gus that is at the pool room I go to. Congrats on your pick up.
