I have installed a digital camera for streaming a live cam above 1 of my tables, and my camera is picking up so much white light that you can not see the balls. I have tried to adjust it but i cant. Someone told me about something that goes in pool light to illiminate the part of the light that henders the brightness. Does anyone know how to resolve my problem?

Leonard,

That will help for sure. I believe SDE Came up with that knowledge, and it helped a lot!

The best thing is to get a camera that has exposure controls. They are pretty reasonable now.

Sorry Ray, I can't take credit for suggesting to use the sunglasses. I was trying to help the first time live streamer, Levi if I recall correctly, along with a couple of other viewers but it was SteveKur1 that actually came up with the suggestion of using the sunglasses.

I agree 100% with you about using a different camera. I'm sure you would agree that miniDV cams are best suited for streaming. I picked up a couple of used Canons on ebay for less than $100 each and another for $30. All of them do a descent job, although they do not give the same quality as my Canon dv30 that I bought new for $1000.
