The chalk comes in boxes of 12 cubes. I started with 64 boxes (about five gross) and now have 8 boxes remaining (less than one gross).

The chalk is blue. Pictures to follow.

Prices are firm, but it does include shipping in US.

one 12-cube box for $22.50 (First Class)
two 12-cube boxes for $40 (Priority Mail)
three 12-cube boxes for $50.00 (Priority Mail)

four or more 12-cube boxes for $15 each (Priority Mail)

I won't sell less than a 12-cube box. No individual cubes please.
I will only accept Paypal as payment.
I will only ship to the address in the Paypal payment notice.
Shipping costs more for international orders.

The absolute BEST Pre-Flag every offered on here.

Others have been too something (damp, dry, brittle, etc); one seller was even taping on the paper cause it was falling off.

But this is the real deal. It's been stored somewhere that did it no harm.

This is not a paid endorsement! I have wasted entirely too much money on the latest & greatest chalk, but ALWAYS go back to Pre-Flag and this is the best in many blue moons.

I got my pre flag master chalk in a while back. This batch is older than the last pre flag master chalk that was made. I am basing it on personal experience. I bought a couple of gross right after the formula change and it had the shallow tip groove in the top. This chalk has the deeper drilled looking tip groove in the top. The formula change did happen in pre flag master chalk for a time before they added the flag. But when I noticed the formula change was when they started using the shallow tip groove. I talked to my supplier about the change and he explained that Tweeten said they had to quit using heavy metals in the chalk and that was why it did not put as heavy a coat on any more. Another said that they reduced the amount of corn starch also as it was getting too expensive. Who knows what the truth was. My guess is that heavy metals may have meant lead and the USA cracked down on lead use in the 1990s.
 
I received a box and it looks real good!! I will try it out tomorrow and compare it to the pre flag i have which is from the late 60's.

Just got some pre-flag good stuff. The guy that is selling is new here. Fast shipping, great packaging an nice fellow. Might want to give it a try. :wink:
 
I received a few boxes of this chalk a couple of weeks ago.
The chalk was packaged well. No problems with shipping.
The chalk he is selling looks and feels just like the two cubes of preflag I've had in
my bag for 20 years (I dont play much anymore :-) )

The newer flagged chalk I have seems a little grittier to me.

Just my observation.

I'd take 2 boxes if you'd take a check. I don't do paypal or give my card number on the net. If agreeable to you, I'll send a check for $40...you can hold off on shipping the 2 boxes until the check clears. Just let me know by PM or post here where to send the check & who to make it out to if this is agreeable.

No prob...I'll live without the chalk. Oh, should you ever bump into Jack Justis, ask him if my checks bounce...:wink:
 
Received mine in the mail today. Fatz is a man of his word and the chalk is authentic and really good quality.

I tried out the chalk from Fatz last night. The color is a little darker than than the two cases of pre flag that I already have, but feels exactly the same. Very good chalk here!!
