Meucci with a Z2

I have a 20 year old Muecci HOF-2 cue. I would like to buy a predator Z2 shaft for it. My question is: How much does the butt change the performance of the Z2 shaft? Should I consider a predator butt with the Z2 or will my old Muecci perform the same with the Z2. I do not want to spend the money for a new cue butt unless it adds value.

The price for sneaky pete is about 335usd

Shaft for meucci is 237usd.

Difference is about 100usd.

If you are not really fond of your meucci than you can sell it and buy the predator combo. Play with it few years you will still get 200 back when you sell it.
I dont think butt will make any impact on the playbilty or deflection abilities.

I do not think that any butt will change the performance of a Z2 shaft. That said, a cue's parts have work with each other to produce a certain "feel or hit". See if that combo works for you, it's a very individual thing.
