With the top 50 listed money players barred from this event, and the $1500 added money, you would think this event will be a big hit.
Because it is a weekend one pocket tournament, it is extremely attractive to people like myself who are becoming ADDICTED to weekend tournaments.
I may have to check out the hotel situation in Tempe, AZ. A stand-by ticket may not be that expensive either.
Hope it is a big success.
If I win the BIG MONEY best weekend Bar Table Tournament in America October 23-24, you will see me there for sure.![]()
The hotel is pretty nice for the price and just 100 feet away from Kolby's. :smile:The nice thing about tournaments at Kolby's is the Quality Inn just across the parking lot. I have stayed there quite a few times when driving up from Tucson.
Here's there info if you have to book a room:
1375 E. University Dr.
Tempe, AZ 85281
(480) 774-2500

If you book online it's $10 cheaper than just checking in and paying.![]()
Can't wait to see the lineup for the cash!
I may have missed it but will there be a Calcutta?
No calcutta but I am sure there will be side pots which is as close as you can get, probably 10-20-40 dollar side pots.
I am not sure but hope he does and shows up, its first paid first served so he needs to get his money in quick. :smile:Is that swarmy fellow that likes to drink "something" Jack liquor going to play?
