Hello I was wondering if anyone had a link or instructions on how to make a Valley coin-op into free play? I would like to make the balls drop down to the ball return not just take them out of the side door or push the ball drop lever in the cion door.
Thanks

Open the ball door. Remove the cap screws at both ends of the cradle. Remove the cradle from the table. Close and lock the ball door. Table is now on free play.

I have an older (1971) table that I was able to remove the push chute trap assembly and make it straight thru on ball return.
If yours is the same type, you need to remove the side opening with the window in it, and remove 2 bolts
(1 on each end of the chute trap).

The parts diagrams can be found at:

Some good info on the older tables is at:

Good Luck

Thank guys

Yea I think I want to remove the chute trap (cradle) i have a newer cougar mid to late 90's but it looks like it might be the same setup. Removing the chute is what I want to do and I will give that a try it sounds simple enough 2 screws and bam I'm all set up.

Thanks guys for the quick response.

Rack em good rack em tight 9 on the break
