I've yet to see anyplace on AZ where someone that was at the match posted a recap. All we got was 2-2, 4-4, 6-6, 11-6...

Can someone post up a nice detailed recap please?

I hear that FOX will be broadcasting the final, sometime in December. If they get tons of viewers, maybe we will see more pool on FOX in the future.

Who knows, maybe it's the beginning of something beautiful. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hopefully it will broadcast nationally, but until then, we don't have a clue as to how the match went, other than the scoring. Is there a gag order out? :wink:

Was it great play? Any chirping? Was Earl going 16 rails for position? How was the table breaking? Did Shawn make some killer full cue jumps?

I know what you mean. That's why I made the trip .It was tough for the both of them to get going. Just my opinion but I think there was a lot of tension in the air . Not to mention excitement. I wish I could tell you about everything that happened. They were trading racks most of the match. Break wasn't really working for either player as one would scratch or come up dry leaving the other out. Total excitement. Will tell you this....Score 8-6 Earl...wins...makes it 9-6 ...raises his arms yelling...YEAH !!! goes over to Shawn ..arm extended for a hand shake saying to him " good game " Shawn says .."it's not over " Earl says "What !!" at which point Shawn informs him it's a race to 11...Earl goes ..Earl in the most funny of ways...has the crowd in a up-roar...CLASSIC MOMENT IN SPORTS !!!! .Tune in to Fox

One other small side note...I got my mom to go with me since it was a the Hard Rock Casino she could do a bit of gambling..well while we were watching the showdown ..her phone goes off with the volume set for a 78 yr.old ..I'm going for her purse to kill the thing..Shawn ..down on a shot stops ..addresses me " I hope that's really important "..by no means in a bad way..I'm pointing at her saying" it's not me" ..lighting the obvious horror I'm having. Just another day at the office.. yea..if Fox edits this one they are nuts.
