Anyone near waterloo,IA?

Just curious if there is anyone near waterloo, IA that would be willing to share some knowledge and play some pool.

I'm always looking to learn more and get better but my friends i usually shoot with arn't a real challenge. I'd like to practice with someone more advanced.

Where is there a place to play in Waterloo? I travel to Waterloo fairly often but end up just staying in my room. Mostly cause I've only found 7' tables in the bars

Depending on what you want think you need to learn I might be able to help. If you're looking for someone who simply whips your butt I'm not the guy. I don't do pockets well. But maybe after an hour or so I might start hittin em. You never know.

I live in grinnell, if you want to come down this way I'd help you out. Or I would drive that way and we can gamble, cheap.

Breakroom billiards in cedar falls, IA has a couple 9' tables. That's about 15mins from my house... Let me know when you'll be in the area..

Where do you play @ in grinnell? Do you usually shoot 8ball or 9ball? If i can ever get some time off i'd be willing to drive a little ways.

As of right now we're working 9hr days and saturdays though:( I like the money but like some weekends off too.

Depending on how much 'gambling' you're talkin i might be willing to bite but i'm not sure if my skills are good enough to back up my wallet yet!:)
