Greetings,

A few questions about the subject case. They look like this

  1. Does anyone have one of these cases? If so, any pictures of the case interior? Can't seem to find one.
  2. To those who own this type of case, could you advise on whether or not to get one?
  3. I also noticed that these aren't mentioned on sterlingcuecases.com, but are being sold at Cuesight. Are these cases part of Sterling post-JB's arrival or prior to?

Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure all of the cases under Sterling in Cuesight have gone through John Barton. So if im not mistaken the interiors are the same as the ones he uses in all his cases, the super plush one that super protects your cues lol. If the case is your style then go for it! But interior wise i think if you get the economy one and his 1000+ dollar customs its the same super great protection (unless you are looking for the even more padded extra padding he offers).

Those cases are Instroke knockoffs that Sterling was carrying prior to my arrival at Sterling. All I have done is to improve them somewhat but haven't put an awful lot of effort into them. At some point we plan to discontinue them.

The interior is a foam core style. I don't have a picture handy.

I can't really advise you as to whether to buy one or not. I prefer the padded fabric interiors over this foam core style personally.

Thanks a lot

All I needed to hear was foam core. I prefer padded fabric.

Thanks.
