Frost rambling thru town with this line up of killers? Figured he would make a christmas trip and pool trip in one.
Too bad I committed to the POKER game long before the POOL tournament come up. Got's ta advertise. But I'm dead money in either, so i doubt it counts.
I know I mentioned this before but, I am also anxious to see how many local players come out and play in the tournaments. I understand that most won't play in the one pocket tournament, but the majority of the local players should be playing in the 9 ball tournament. That is what will make or break the event and determine whether they make this an annual or bi-annual tournament. How cool would it be to have an "Olathe" type tournament right here in our own backyard once or twice a year???
Randy mentioned to me on Monday that if this tournament is a success, he would be willing to run a tournament like this once or twice a year.
Okay, I might have missed it, but who is Jamie playing?...and when is that going down?
Let Fenton know its a game. Post 5 games. Can't go late sunday I've got to work early monday morning. What night is he thinking?
Just a few pages back, neighbor. I don't think that a time has been solidified, but knowing pool players - sometime between Thursday (Now) and Sunday (11 pm).
Anyone else know more? I hear the stream is in the house and would ya'll be so kind as to play on the internet??
I wonder if Brad's poker game will have wi-fi.
Thanks Matt!!
Seriously? You guys are missing the biggest tournament that our town has ever had so far for a little poker game that you have ALL of the time.....? Your joking right? And you call yourself pool player....you should be ashamed...:bash:....lol
This is the first I've even heard of a tournament in town.

No 9-Ball is not handicapped.
I don't knock the guys who want to play poker instead of pool. I mean realistically they have a better chance winning the poker tourney money AND they can sweat the best matches each round of each tourney from the poker game and their cell phones. Plus they might like poker more than pool. I like the pool action so it's really hard for me to miss but for others I can see why they wouldn't come. Realistically it's a lot of waiting around to play and lots of dull moments in between the good ones.
Do you think an employee should be loyal to the company they work for? Do you think that a company should be loyal to their employees? You answer this question right you know whether you should play pool or do whatever else you like to do on the weekend.

Mike, all of these Poker player are my buddies. I am not knocking them, I'm giving them $hit trying to get them here
Would someone at least get a reach around if they have to play Bowman or Shuff straight up lol? Touch action there. Hopefully the locals are playing strong and don't let the out of towners take this tournament down!
I know, I think they are gay for not playing as well. They are probably having a martini party and dressing up like James Bond.
