Installing the *new* Imperial Spectrum

For the other "installers" out there. I recently set up the Imperial Spectrum table. I put *new* because the table now is made in China. It used to be made in Malaysia. So it has some changes. A normal new install for me and my main guy Oscar is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. This table took 4 1/2 hours to unpack and set up. It has a protective film over all the parts which took forever to remove. We then needed Goo Gone to get the residue of the legs. If you have to do this table be sure to charge accordingly. It wasn't hard...just time consuming.

Are the rails to the table covered with rail cloth when u get them? If so what fashion are the side pockets folded? Are some different than others? I have set up some imports that came with the rails covered, with the pockets folded in a different fashion "side and corners" on the same table...

No..Imperial International tables do not come covered from the factory. The table was sold from a brick and mortar store. The featherstrip is strange though. It is an 1/8th x 5/16th plastic strip.

They were a tough install before minus the protective film headache. All the tables with legs on the outside corners are. The Brunswick Manhattan, Olhausen Madison, the Spectrum, etc. The frame and legs get in the way of covering them, particularly at the pocket openings.
