Life after the DCC

I woke up today with a big hole in my life and I can't figure out what's going to happen. After a day of recovery from 10 days of glorious top level pool and action, sleeping and resting, I went to the pool room just to practice and play a little. No gas in the tank. That was Tuesday. Just didn't want to be there. Next day, same thing. Thursday, repeat and Friday, the holiest of all holy days for pool room action, I watched reruns and petted the animals. Today I realized that I have been going through DCC withdrawal. Lack of 24 hour pool at a top level. Bad food, no sleep. Ice cream and pulled pork sandwiches. Where are you? I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. Without the DCC, is life worth it anymore?:grin-square::grin-square::eek::eek::grin-devilish::love::love::love::rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

Bill....for 11 years now, I've felt that same way after the DCC comes to an end, and I get back to the same old-same old at the hometown poolroom...:(

PS, And by the way, like you, I happily donated at the ice cream parlor everyday - that old school Graeter's ice cream is the nuts :joyful: one day I got the butter pecan/caramel sundae, another day I went for the espresso/mocha-chip milk shake, tried the unusual cinammon ice cream another day - it was killer.

Yep, it's about as bad as any "last call" can be and it happens every year. :(
