Brunswick Anniversary

I bought a Anniversary table a few years ago and had it restored by a local mechanic. It looks great but plays really slow. I want to replace the 'traditional felt' he put on it with Simonis 860 and I also want to replace the cushions with Brunswick Super Speed's. I'm pretty sure he put new K66's (knockoff, not Brunswick) on the table and I've had people tell me that the reason they're 'dead' is because they are mounted too high. This makes sense to me because the ball would be driven downward into the table when the ball carooms off the rail.

How high should the point of the cushion be above the playing surface?

Does the Anniversary use K66, K55, or a hybrid cushion?

Thanks. Feel free to email me at sbroos@stepan.com

They are K55 profile.

Ditch the Superspeed and get some Diamond Black K55 cushions! (better & cheaper)
Cushion Nose Height = 1 7/16"

Just finished about 6 sets with Artemith cushions (55) put new sub-rails on...4 1/2 corners....play awesome.
Call me if you would like a price...you'll need to mail the rails to me.
