314^2 Fat? Who uses one?

I've been playing with Predator shafts for a long time and I like them a lot. I wondered how the Predator "Fat" shafts played and I wanted to try one and I got a chance when the TAP pool league held their National tournament here in Charleston, SC last year. The room was full of Diamond 7' tables and there was a dealer at the tournament who let me try a "demo cue" with a Predator Fat shaft on one of the tables that wasn't being used in the tournament. I got to play with it about 30 minutes and I was very impressed with it. My initial thoughts were it would deflect noticeably more than my standard 314-2 predators, but I couldn't tell much difference. The shaft played well and if I didn't have so much invested in my other Predator shafts i'd buy one in a minute. This is just my opinion, but for what it's worth I liked the Fat shaft a lot.

I've played with mine for more then a year now and it's been great. The FAT is still lower deflecting and only said to be 5% more so then a 314-2 (as per Predator.com), which translates to barely noticable on a table IMO. It plays like a standard 314-2 but stiffer, which is perfect.
I have been using the fat shaft for about a year and it plays great. It does seem to deflect more than a 314 but less than a conventional shaft. My biggest gripe is that it has a tinny almost hollow feel when I play with predators. If you like LD shafts I think this is the best of them all.
