After their match Earl expressed no interest in the rematch on a 9' table.

Will SVB give Earl a pass on a 9' table rematch since Earl has no interest, or will Shane start practicing on a 10' for a rematch somwhere down the line?

How realistic is a TAR match between Earl and either Alex or Appleton?

Any thoughts on who would be Earl's toughest competition (out of any pro)
on the 10 footer?

How long has Earl been playing on a 10 footer? Has he been on it for years? I'm sure if you give the other pros enough time on 10 footer, Earl will have some tough competion.

I'm not sure About Appleton but Earl vs Alex looks like it could happen. I don't think a 10 footer intimidates Alex with his background in snooker.

And yes, there should be a rematch on a 9', only if they have agreed to it beforehand.

Well Jcin straight up said Dippy texted him and wanted to put Alex P in. Alex is very worthy with his snooker background and incredible ten ball game. He is excellent with the bridge and his ten ball break is phenomenal.

Tony Drago was another that came to my mind since he is a snooker player who has won big ten ball tournaments and plays fearlessly.

Cory D would be another threat because he might be able to figure out something special about breaking on ten footers and exploit it.

Earl should play a rematch on the 9ft table if that's what they agreed to. However if it was just Mike G. making internet chatter and the terms were not set that between Earl's backers and Shane's backers then that's that.

I hope Earl does start a series of challenges against everyone on the 10ft table. Would be great to see. Although I am sure that whoever is up next will be better prepared for it than Shane was.

I said before that this match will always have an asterisk next it due to Earl's behavior. He played lights out BUT he also acted in a truly sharking manner for much of the match and that's a factor. Granted Shane knew what he was in for but it's still disturbing when you have to fade a tough table and an opponent's rants.

(I know because I have been that ranting opponent plenty of times and seen it disable my opponents. And I have felt guilty about winning when I did that.)

Was an epic match on many levels. Earl in all his glory is now preserved forever for 182 games. It was great to see him play good, very difficult to see him behave badly and cycle through a toy chest of odd gear, sad to see Shane fall apart. Well worth the money.

Tony Drago might ROB Earl on this table. Tony will be able to play the safety game every bit as good as Earl and won't be the least bit intimidated by the size of the table or the pocket sizes or the cut of them.

I like Alex too as I don't think he will miss the shots Shane did. Earl didn't really get the heat put on him that we expected Shane to bring. Might be different if it stays close throughout or the other guy pulls ahead.

Earl will rob Corey imo..... I love Corey's game but he doesn't have the game to stand up to Earl's firepower on this table.....although it could be a tossup, what do I know.....I didn't have to nads to take a 3:1 bet on my childhood hero :-(

Appleton will be a contender or any of the Brits for that matter, they have practically all started on a snooker table. I'd love to see Alex take Earl on, that should be great.
I don't think Earl would rip Corey apart, he's probably the most creative player in the world after Efren, but I wouldn't say Corey would be a favourite in that match-up...
Then again, Mika has also played snooker in the past, but I think he would have to wear muffs as well, so that Earl couldn't get inside his head.

Came to mind, how would you rate other Filipinos against Earl on that table? Bustamante, Van Corteza, Alcano? They played a lot of rotation on wool cloths, where you have to really strike the ball to get action on the cue ball... And their breaks are amazing...
