Pro series gloves vs sir josephs.

I recently picked up a pro series glove and wanted to let everyone know about the quality. Ive had a few of there cases and have always gotten good bang for the buck! This is no difference. I have always bought sir josephs ...ive worn a glove for probobly 20 years...but in the last two years there quality was horrible. With in two months I already had a hole in a finger tip and honestly the threads were coming out as soon as I took it from the bag so within a few day it really lost it's elasticity. At the local artisan billiards they started carrying pro series. I've had it now for 4 months. I play every day for at least 2 hours and its as good as new. No wear on the finger tips or palm and it still fits tight. Highly recommended. Sorry I don't mean to throw sir josephs under the bus here but 5 gloves in a row I had the same problems so I gotta call it how it is.

I think Longini's makes a nice glove as well.
 
Nick Varner's?

Are the gloves you are talking about called "Nick Varner Pro Tour Series II Glove"? The ones with the finger tips? Here's a link: http://www.seyberts.com/products/Nick_Varner_Pro_Tour_Series_II_Glove-101979-367.html

The "Nick Varner Pro Tour Glove" with no fingertips and with a leather pad on the heel look like winners too because they have eliminated the common wear points.

Are these gloves stretchy or less stretchy like the Sir Josephs?

Why? Because my shafts stay clean? Or maybe I don't have to get powder over everything? Or because it gives me the same smooth stroke every time? This is what now sucks about this forum. Trolls like this... If you don't like gloves why did you bother to click a link about a review of two gloves? Troll somewhere else...

No its not the nick Varner glove. The company is called pro series.

Dude...I am beyond not a troll first off. Check my Itrader, and thread I started for the cuemaker/dealer/directory to help out people on this site. How about the fact that I am a paying member on here because I appreciate this forum. What about you???

It was a joke, SORRY if you took it personal. I have a friend that used a glove when growing up and I gave him grief as he thought it made him better and was way off base. As for the shafts staying clean that has nothing to do with having to wear a glove. You know how I keep my shafts clean? I clean them myself. I wash my hands before I play a match. I don't shoot right after eating, I wash them again...there are things to do to keep your shafts clean that don't require a glove. You can get the same clean stroke every time without a glove if you keep your shaft clean with regular maintenance and have proper fundamentals in pool. I would not recommend a scratch pad as it wears the shaft size down eventually. I would not recommend the powder. The ONLY time I could see someone having to use a glove is if their hands get sweaty and that is out of their control. Even then you can use a towel, but maybe it is a personal thing. Once again sorry you didn't see any humor in the response as I was just joshing, but maybe do a little bit of research before you assume someone is a troll.
