A lot of the new people starting to play pool always see experienced players that can shoot well.
What newer players do not see are the experiences that helped players understand how to aim.
I am suggesting to new players, instead of aiming on that perfect line to pocket a shot, that you purposely aim on different and extreme lines. This way you can visualize different outcomes instead of the perfect line of sight outcome for pocketing a shot.
The advantage of visualizing the different aiming lines is to help you better judge a shot. Instead of just lining up perfectly try to find the region of "perfection." Usually more than one line can pocket a shot and it is important to understand that when starting out.
