Help to ID older Joss please

I have a Joss limited series (from all I can remember it was a "limited", about 17 yr old. High-low points, highs are hollow with white diamonds, low are solid black with white diamonds. Butt is the "I-beam" inlay with some other decorations. It's the gold Joss logo, no logo or numbers on the metal joints. I have seen a new catalog that has this model as a re-issue for $440 I think, but I'd like to know the original model. Can't find anything on Joss' website or online.

Logo is from the '90s, if that helps. Without a catalog from that era, I don't know how you'd find out the model. Why would you need that, anyway?? Try calling Dan Janes, if you have to.

I knew the era (Cause that's when I bought it ;) ) but don't remember what model it is. Just that it was a limited series. I saw a reproduction of it in a new catalog, which made me want to learn more about the one I have. Contacting Joss is my next step, figured I'd give the knowledgable people of the forums a crack at this first :)

Story behind this cue.. was in Boston Billiards, this cue and a plain Joss were next to each other, both were marked $200. Not knowing a huge amount about cues at the time, I still knew that that price was 50% light. Walked a block to the ATM, took that baby home with me. Never seen another one like it.
 
Bump.. have not gotten any info from Joss about this (no reply to my email) and tons of internet searches got me zip, hoping someone can tell me the original series this is from. Maybe it's a custom model they made for a distributor?
 
Bumping this old thread up, my son is now using the stick, and I still can't find which series or model this thing is from. Never got a reply from Joss about it.
