$10,000 added open singles 8-ball tourney

I know it's late, but Remington wants to do it. They asked me if I would take the 10K and put on a singles tourney. You may call me and I will give you the contact info at Remington to verify if you'd like.

Rick Jones is bringing in the tables but not running the event. David Truelove is putting on a team event in another room at the same time. Because you had to be a league player to participate in that, Remington wanted to put on something for everybody else that wanted to play a big $ tourney.
 
Amy, maybe I missed it but are these bar boxes or 9' tables? I wonder if you have percentages calculated for the payout break down?? Also, could you please make up and post a tournament flyer giving all the details - doesn't have to be fancy, just full of info.

this is not the run for the money

This is not the "Run for the Money". That tournament is June 17-19 and required getting qualified. This runs the following weekend and is open to anyone who wants to play.
 
I'm new here and obviously dont post much. Im doing some math considering coming to this event. low entry fee, but lots of added money could be pretty good.

how do we sign up?

how many already signed up?

Is there a flyer for this anywhere with details?

Is there a registration fee?

Quarters or green fee?

auction?

Yes it is happening. Yes the entry is $20. Give Amy (the OP) a call at the number provided in the first post. Sign up starts Fri, but I'm sure she has started a list and will put you on it if you are coming from out of town.

It is $20 entry fee and you pay quarters on $1 diamond smart tables.

Capping the field at 128. True double elimination. No auction to my knowledge.

Amy can't get to a computer until Monday. She will get on here then and address the payout percentage.

Some of us would be coming from a considerable distance and it would surely be one helluva disappointment to get there and not be able to play. Can't she do something to alleviate that concern for those coming from a long distance?
