*** 9 Cues for sale ***

I'm uncomfortable with these. These are clearly Predator and Poison rips-off. I realise they're not being sold as such and I'm not having a go at the seller, but does the pool community want to encourage this?

I ask the question, not sit in judgement.

I debated pulling them off the listing as I didn't know they were rip-off's. I specifically asked for unique, non copied cues when I ordered them.

I figured I would just leave them up there and people could make up their own mind.

Fair enough. GL with your sale.

Since you posed the question...

In my OPINION, these are not rip-offs. Similar designs...yes. But none of them say "Poisen" or "Predater" or some other spelling differential with regards to the name on the cues.

I've seen SOOOOO many well-respected custom cuemakers whose design on specific cues is no different than other custom cuemakers. I know this question has been addressed numerous times before.

Similar designs...I don't consider to be a copy or a "knock-off".

By slightly, and purposely, altering the name of the product in in attempt to try and mislead consumers is what I consider to be "rip-offs", "knock-offs", "copies", etc.

The reason I state this, is in the golf industry, "knock-offs" were/are huge! Rather than a TaylorMade club, some knock-offs were being labeled as Tayler Made. This was done in order to PURPOSELY deceive and mislead consumers.

These cues have the production company's own logo on them and in no way are meant to deceive.

I'm not affiliated with the seller...or the manufacturer, but I too have owned several of these cues and I would not for one moment call these "knock-offs".

I'm not denying the manufacturer used the same design, but I don't believe they are trying to mislead the consumer into believing they are purchasing something they are not...

Just my two cents...

Jason

Bump. Any other questions?

Any chance of revealing the company name or logo on the cue ?? It's just out of pure curiousity, I have no intentions of going online and buying any cues. I DO like the look a like Blak1 and IF I bought one, it would be from the OP, but I already have a 3K5 coming and can't afford to buy anything else right now, as stated, just pure curiousity. I also completely understand if you don't want to tell.

I agree and can verify that none of these cues have anything but the Chinese manufactures name.

PM me.

Found something else out.

Cues #3 and #5 in the first picture are Inlay forearm with decal sleeve.

Cue #4 from second picture and cue #4 from first pictue are both inlay forearm and sleeve.

Cues #1 and #3 from second picture are 6 prong color veneer forearm.

Dropping the price.

If you buy two cues - 15.00 off total
Three cues = 35.00 total.
Four cues = 60.00 off total.
Five Cues = 90.00 off total.
And so forth.

Or if you buy one of the Vikings from my other thread I'll throw one of these in for an extra 50.00!

are these inlaid or overlaid? i might have overlooked the post if already mentioned.

It was stuck in the middle of the thread, easily overlooked but I remembered reading it. Hope that helps.
