Breakers is your best bet for action

A buddy of mine said there is usually a real good ring game Friday's at Big Pat's in Sharpburgh (close to Etna). I can try to get more info if you are interested.

pittsburgh action

if your looking for action breakers is always the first spot. but shane will give you action at steel city billiards.if you'd like to set up a session shoot something back here sets, by the game, or what you are looking for. there is play to be had all around pittsburgh. But ya gotta ask.

This is probably crazy but do any of you guys remember the Hawks Nest in Squirrel Hill I think. Great memories for me from the late sixties. I know that was a long time ago.. but I thought I would ask....

Thanks

Thank you all. Breaker's it is.

I was on vacation for a month in the Pittsburgh area, Breakers is a nice place with nice diamond and gold crown tables and one billiards table. I was there during the heat wave and Breakers would let it get pretty hot inside once it got busy and then try and turn the AC on. Once that happened, I would venture over to Steel City Billiards which was always nice and cool and is only about a 10 minute drive from Breakers.

At Steel City Biliards, they have gold crowns with super small pockets and Shane "Action" Jackson is the owner. He was there everytime I ever stopped in and is a player that likes to play wether its for the fun of it or for the cash. Nice place and I would suggest stopping by.

Other than that, you have Ice Breakers that is about an hour away in the Youngstown area. They put on some good tourny's if they are having any while you are back in Pittsburgh its worth the drive.

Regardless, if you go to any of these places, you will enjoy yourself and meet some great people/players.

Oh, if they are still doing work on the Lincoln tunnel between 10pm and 6 am, its no big deal, the detour is only about 10 minutes so dont let that be a factor for trying to leave by 10pm.

Have fun.
Paul
