LOL @ John...

Jamie may I ask you a question from a business stand point?:yikes: How many sales have lost or never had because of your forum antis, and attacks on competitor like IndyQ? plus non nonsense attacks on JB CASES. I would be willing to bet your antics cold have lost a sale or two.

Maybe if you just PMed these people you hate, and carried on you war of words in private you cash register would ring more frequently.

JMHO. Have a nice day, and BTW you lost one sale I personally know of because of your antics.

Nice collection! My favorite is the Bonner.
What would it cost to copy one of those?

:-)

Sent you an email two days ago. It's $375 shipped made to the specs you outlined. It was good to have Brian's case to study when we did the Chas case. I think we did a decent enough job of it and Jive loves it.

Don't tell Jamie though. He wouldn't know the difference between his pinky and his winkie. He'd accuse his hand of copying.

It's all right Bruce. He is just upset that Roy sells more every Monday morning before breakfast than he does all month. He is upset because after spending all that money on photo gear, and all that time learning photoshop his pictures still looked washed out. He is upset because he was too lazy to clean the cues before taking pictures so they all look like there is dirt under the finish. He is upset because to do all this work and act like a hotshot photographer and then to not even get the cue maker's names right is priceless.

He is upset because no matter what he does he has no traffic to his website (sorry, blog) and has to resort to placing ads on AZB to attempt to sell cues.

So that's a lot of frustration to handle. All that money tied up in cues for a hobby dealer. I'd be upset too. And the performance anxiety that comes with selling less than six Whitten cases in two years??? Rough. Roy used to sell more Whittens each month than this guy could sell in years, plural. Brutal. Absolutely brutal to have to know you are a failure. So don't be hard on him. Throw him a bone and buy something if he ever shows you a decent picture of something you might like. If you buy something then he might be able to afford to become a "club member" and give AZB $35 a year to help pay the site expenses like every honorable dealer who USES AZ to promote their stuff does.

Also I know you are proud of your photos and fancy yourself to be a good photographer. So can I ask you if the joint on this cue is scratched up? The Black Boar I owned had a polished stainless steel joint but this one doesn't look polished at all? Is this some new matte steel wool decorated joint that Tony is doing or is your photoshop on acid?

Tony does not high polish his SS joints. I know this only because I go to his shop now and then and PLAY with a boar for the past 3 years.

I didnt read this thread, but I know about Boars.

Also what I find a little funny is that all these cue makers don't even make the featured listing in the drop downs, they are all grouped under Miscellaneous on Jamie's site. How good do you have to be to get listed under your own name???

Gina
Tim Scruggs
Richard Chudy
Andy Gilbert
Omega
Bender
Durbin
Alpert
Moore
Black Boar
Omen
Darrin Hill
Joey Bautisa (fellow AZer relegated to the misc cues - brutal)
Olney (or is it Onley??)
Samsara
It's George (the most beat up "pristine" cue I have ever seen)

This is an impressive list of makers if you ask me. Too bad they don't all deserve to be listed under their names and must be found by searching through five pages of Miscellaneous cues.

Now here is a well organized site where each cue maker is treated with respect with a listing of their name on EVERY page for easy access from any part of the website. www.indyq.com

Ok but do they look like what is showing in Jamie's picture? Mine didn't look like it was all scratched up. It looked like a normal stainless steel joint. And I used to hang out with Dieter Eisele who was the Black Boar dealer for Germany and none of his looked like Jamie's picture.

Seems like all the cues on Jamie's website with steel joints have the same unpolished look.

Looks like a photoshop job gone bad to me but then I am not the professional photographer that Jamie is. Maybe his customers like the subdued scratched joint look.

No dog in this fight but Jamies cues look scanned (laid on a flatbed scanner). (I could be wrong) We used to do this but it would wash out the joint and I didn't like the edges.. Jamie does a decent job putting them on his backgrounds. It was just to much work for me when we did this.

The best guy at this technique IMHO is Greg Savoie at Billiardwarehouse, he actually got me doing it.

John/Jamie,

You two are both respected members on the forum as your iTrader and posts bear this out. This bantering back and forth does a disservice to both you men. No one wins in a situation like this and most people read these posts/threads and only shake their head in disbelief.

I'm sure whatever it was this set this off from the start is not worth what this is turning out to be between two respected members of AZ. Now, I'm I'm not saying you guys have to "kiss" and make up but if one of you just reach out (off-line) to the other...I'm certain you can set aside your differences and put this behind you.

Jamie, I've done some transactions with you in the recent past. You are a man of your word and the end result has been very positive. John, I don't believe I've acquired anything from you as of yet but I do respect what you create and so do other folks.

In the end, all of us here on the forum have one thing in common...our passion for cues & cases. I've met more people (not so much in person) on this site than anywhere else and everyone is truly a standup individual.

Good luck to both you gentlemen!

Oh my God... I have some typos on my site... I'm sure no one will buy a cue now!!!! I'm doomed!

Photographer and all that money spent on gear you say??? Again, more lies from John. I have a whole $230 invested in a flatbed scanner and I use Gimp (which is a free software program) to collage the scans. I don't even own a camera exept on my phone. So you see folks, if John's fingers are moving, then lies are being written.

John, I don't do this for a living and I do not have to sell a cue or case to make ends meet. I enjoy it as a hobby, but my real focus is on my family and my job . So your assumption that somehow I'm frustrated or upset could not be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, I'm very comfortable and on vacation with my family in a VERY nice place as I type this waiting on a meal. Tomorrow my son & I will be playing one of the top golf courses in the world. So yeah, seems like I'm really struggling here.

Unlike you when you lie about leaving AZ, I'm done with this thread. Feel free to post more of your lies and name calling... I'm sure you will because that is all you know how to do.

- oh, and ps... I just realized you said you will be at the ICCS... that pretty much just ruined it for me. May be changing my plans... so no hug for you. :(

You are right Tony... I'm bowing out of this one. Thanks for the comments.
