Help using paypal for selling raffle tickets

how do I sell raffle tickets using paypal,Have challenge match between SVB and Darren Appleton am going to be selling tickets to get in to see match with aprox. 3500 in cues and prizes raffled off but you do not have to be there to win. Any help would be appreciated
 
I would think all you have to do is start your thread with the full description on what you're raffling off and at the end, put your Paypal addy and tell people to send payment there and put their name, address, number and reason for payment in the Paypal info/message box at the bottom of the invoice page. I'm sure someone else will know.

Just dont let p@yP@l know you are doing a raffle and you are good. :shocked:

what happens if they do I am not making any money on this it buys the cues and pays for the challenge match the room makes its money the day of the evnt.

Selling raffle tickets is against paypal's rules. If they find out they will likely freeze your account. You must sell something tangible OR some sort of intangible PRODUCT. Sell an ebook or something and GIVE away the raffle ticket. PayPal does not consider a chance to win as a product. Also because raffles are illegal in all 50 states without a license PP does not allow them.

So - sell a product - give away the ticket and you should be ok. Although remember that PayPal can do whatever it wants and freeze your account for "security purposes" at any time.

No matter what you should NOT include the word raffle anywhere in the transaction. PP's programming is set to look for that word and alert to it.
 
thanks for the help.Is there a way to donate to the event and in turn receive a ticket for the event
