Do all McDermotts have the same taper?

I have a quick question or two. My McDermott shaft has a very thin taper, meaning it gets skinny fast at the collar. Do all McDermotts have this same type of taper in their shafts from the factory and what is the name of this type of taper?

No they do not all have the same taper. McDermott currently manufactures 5 different shafts--the I-1, I-2, I-3, G-Core, and the standard all maple shaft.
