Vendor Commissions

Every year I go to the DCC or other events and look at all the cues, cases, books, DVDs, and other assorted gimcracks for sale at the vendor booths. I understand that occasionally there are cues and cases "on commission" for sale by some of the vendors. IOW, the cue or case is owned by someone else, but the vendor has it at their booth so it gets exposed to the foot traffic and, if it sells, the vendor gets a commission.

Has anyone done this as the owner of a cue or case and how did it work out?

I've not done it, Lou. But why not post the cases here first (with no commissions)?

Well, to be perfectly honest, AL... the prices for cases (and cues) lately have not been so good. So I was thinking the tournament route. My wife says to hold on to them for another few years. She usually wins these kinds of arguments :-)
