Opinions on Break Jump cue

I'm developing a line of Jump Break Cues and am wanting some opinions on what attributes or aspects players think make the ideal break jump cue. I know what I like, but would like some other views. Shaft material, size and taper? Tip and ferrule material? Joint? Butt weight and balance? etc....

The new technology seems to be in the tip.... Mezz has a white fiber pad and Predator is using a black pad... I think these are both adding a small amount of trampoline effect to the tips....

Taper comes in depending on the type of break cue you want... If you want a break cue that allows you to press control the break at speed you will want a lower deflection shaft with a high kick point.... You want a squat break like Shane you will want a stiff shaft with low kick point so you can jump the ball to the rack.....

As far as jump break.... Most are suitable to the Shane break and not to the press break........

What do mean by "kick point"?

The point at which the shaft will bend... You can bow the whole shaft under pressure but you can also set the taper and pinch point to make the shaft bend where you want it to under load........ A high kick point will effectively trap the cueball to the table so jumping the table is a moot point and adding more power enhances the trap so for controlled high speed breaks it is advantageous......
